With Mother’s day behind us, we wanted to definitely show off a Mother’s day shoot that we photographed. I am sure most moms would agree that they hardly ever get photographs of themselves. We know how important taking photographs are and so we take lots of them (for the most part) but how many photographs are taken of your kids and you? We also make up excuses, “no I don’t want to take pictures I don’t have makeup on” “no I don’t want to take pictures I look horrible”. These excuses, although seem valid at the time, are definitely not good enough excuses. I even had a client tell me recently that they haven’t taken professional pictures since their baby was born (now a year and half old) because she felt fat. I am so happy to see more and more women coming to us because they realize how important photographs are and making the time and effort to include themselves in them. Cary’s Mother’s Day shoot was a perfect representation of how important the early years are with our children.
