Ayianna was a dream to photograph. I’m obsessed with freckles. Obsessed!!! And, not only does Ayianna have freckles, but she’s gorgeous!!! I loved her personality and her spunk. Just amazing.

We were so happy when we got the phone call from one of our frequent clients (thanks to Design 42 for introducing us). She was having a bash for her 50th birthday at their home and she wanted us to capture it all for her. One thing that stood out during the planning process was that there was going to be a celebrity guest at the event, but the identity would remain a mystery! <insert gasp> Our first hint as to who this could be was on the actual day of the event. We knew from past experience that this family knew how to throw a glamouros party. However, we were speechless when we stepped into the panoramic glass tent; the décor was amazing! Once we stopped drooling over the décor, we noticed there was a piano center stage. Ah HA! A hint! We luckily had a private portrait session with the family and the mystery guest. The wait was finally over! We walked into a room and met Sir Elton John! <insert scream> We literally had to remind ourselves to breathe. Even writing this story reminds us how lucky we are. We had the opportunity to meet and better yet, photograph one of our icons! It’s all a blur, but thank God we have photographs (and plenty of them). Elton John played all his greatest hits. A few times in between shooting, we stopped to take it all in. He truly is amazing. Just Elton, a piano, and us just steps away from him…surreal! Each and every time we tell the story we appreciate the opportunity that we had more and more… WE photographed Elton John!
PS Did I mention we got to hear him sing for over an hour?!?!?

Categories: Kids + Family Tags: Family PhoCan not say enough nice things about this family! From the minute I spoke to Tonya, she was so pleasant and easy going. The shoot was done at the clients’ home, which always is a plus for me. It gives me an opportunity to add personal touches to the shoot by using the room décor, furniture, and personal props. Well, as soon as I walked in I noticed an antique trunk and as I approached it Tonya began telling me the story about the trunk. It turns out that the trunk once belonged to her great aunt and the photograph that is on the inside of the trunk is her great aunt as a little girl. Naturally we needed to incorporate the piece in the shoot!

So, naturally we shot at his ranch in Vero. The skies were dark and dreary, and threatening to rain the entire time, but the clouds made for a gorgeous backdrop for Abby’s senior session.

She was a total model with the perfect wardrobe and the cutest accessories. During the shoot it became noticed that she loved my studio light and would follow it with her eyes. She is super alert and curious, she not only loved my light but we put her underneath the fan and she was mesmerized. She has so much personality for a baby and I totally captured it!

First, white bouquets are being replaced by vibrant, colorful arrangements full of brilliant flowers that are sure to be eye-catching. And, they can come in a wide variety of sizes. From small to over the top bouquets. Anything goes. It’s all your choice.
Purple is the new craze in color… From the flowers, to shoes, to decor… Purple, purple, purple. And, of course, my favorite color is purple! It is the color of royalty, of spirituality and of wisdom… So what better color to represent your wedding!
Bringing the indoors out. This is perfect for those that want a beach wedding, but with a twist. Furniture is definitely a way to make a statement, by bringing lounge pieces along the shore as you say your I do’s. 
Tall centerpieces? Short centerpieces? Why not both! This new trend in wedding receptions are one of my faves. This adds drama and depth to your decor. And, many have shied away from clear, glass vases and introduced bases of different colors and textures. Talk about WOW!
Tables aren’t just for centerpieces! Incorporating a little bling or other elements to your tablescape will add that oomph that you’re looking for.
For those of you who might not know, I’m obsessed with shoes. And, color is a definite must! This is a great way to show your personality! Just LOVE shoes! LOVE! 
Let there be light! Lighting is a perfect way to add ambiance to your wedding, and makes a huge statement.
Last but not least is entertainment. Your guests will be floored with this fun addition to your wedding reception. I mean, this sets of the party like nothing else!
