This little cowgirl steals my heart every time I photograph her. I seriously had a smile on my face the entire shoot. Erin not only is as cute as it gets, but she also is a clown. She has a personality that can entertain a whole crowd. One of my favorite pictures is the one of Erin with her goofy face. I said “cheese!” and she turned and gave me that funny face. This shoot was full of laughter & goofy smiles that sums up Erin’s unique and perfect personality. I have photographed her since she was a newborn, so you can say she is a “PS kid.” This is shoot number seven, and it just keeps getting better each time. I adore her, and I think after seeing these photographs you can see why. XO

When we met with Priscilla she had so many ideas! Some big, some small— but she knew exactly what she wanted… she even came with Pinterest boards and images to show us exactly what she envisioned (which is usually our job, but we love when our clients come already prepared!). Priscilla has a great mix of edgy and sweetness in her personality, so she wanted to show this off in all her looks. Her mom is a cake designer, so for her 15s dress, she wanted to feature one of her mom’s gorgeous cakes! We did this at one of our favorite secret spots (The Vine Wall, as we call it), this time changing it up to give it an edgy vibe with dramatic lighting. Our next stop was Coconut Grove for some ice cream and velvet red couches. She showed us her fun/sweet side with the ice cream, but the second she got on the red couch, Priscilla worked the camera! One of Priscilla’s big ideas was to have a carpenter make a floating plank on the ocean water with her own whimsical tent scene on top. We had 6 people helping us while Priscilla was in the middle of the water! We’re lucky she’s small and was able to balance on the plank without falling.. She still had one more look, so getting her hair wet was a no-no. For Priscilla’s last look, we began shooting at dusk. She wanted candles all over the floor of the woods + lights surrounding her for a dramatic feel. Although mosquitos were attacking, Priscilla still owned the last look. We were able to create magic in just 30 minutes. This was such a great shoot. There was so much effort and thought put into every look. We love when our clients come with a challenge. XO

Leslie was on a mission to get family photographs do display in their home. It seemed that she had engagement, wedding and maternity pictures adorning her house but not enough family pictures. We were happy to be the ones chosen for this important photo shoot. Being a family of six, it was a difficult task to get everyone available and even more difficult was finding a cohesive wardrobe for everyone. Leslie took on the project and pulled it off perfectly. The colors she chose were fun and vibrant, everyone looked cohesive but not too matchy matchy. We were lucky with a beautiful afternoon (the rain decided to stop for us thankfully). It was a picture perfect family shoot and we can’t wait to see them displayed all over this family’s home.

This was a vision that we have been trying to produce for awhile now. Usually boudoir sessions are inside, either at the studio or at the clients home. The vision of using nature as a backdrop was something we have been planning in our heads for awhile. The delay of making this vision come to life was finding the right client. We needed an individual that was naturally beautiful and that was ok with not too much makeup and not to much lingerie. We wanted the shoot to seem simple and effortless. So we found Natalie and she was perfect for our idea and even more exciting is that she didn’t need too much convincing. She loved the vision. The photo shoot ended with perfection, but it was not exactly what we had in mind. The rain had us waiting to start the shoot and when the rain clouds finally disappeared, the secluded beach that we had chosen was closed. Soooooo improvising was a must! We were lucky there was a public beach nearby and even more lucky that there was barely any one around. Sheeesh could we get any luckier. Although we had in mind to do some more nude looking pictures, it turned out that Natalie had enough sex appeal to make a silk night gown look hot, hot, and super hot! Just goes to show you, you don’t have to bare all to look sexy. XO

From the look of these images you would think this was a photo shoot that took weeks to prepare, but it didn’t quite work out like that. We did indeed start the planning of Melissa and Jorge’s Engagement session months ago, but it unexpectantly morphed into a different session than what we had expected. The reason for this change of plans was the dilemma of finding the wardrobe. This couple is as busy as they come, with demanding jobs Melissa couldn’t seem to dedicate the time and energy into finding clothes for the shoot. So, we recommended using a fashion stylist to help. Melissa visited Hot Pink Styling a week before her scheduled shoot and fell in love with the choices she was given. Melissa and Hot Pink were doing a fashion show and texting me pics, when I saw the gold dress I automatically had a vision and concept. The second outfit was harder to decide on. When I spoke to Melissa the next day she had chosen a black short feathered dress. We both started shooting ideas at each other and Voila… NYC meets Miami downtown it was. We had a rain scare, a mosquito gang attacking the stylist, a running marathon in downtown and a taxi driver confrontation; but at the end… I can call this shoot absolutely perfect.

Gabi came to meet with us for the first time knowing almost exactly what she wanted. All she needed was a few suggestions here and there to help her different sets come together. Gabi really wanted to showcase her sweet side for her Quince dress. We decided on an all white room at Little River Studios with all pink accents. The couch we rented from Mi Vintage was pink, her shoes were pink, her lips were pink, and we had pink (and white) balloons.. Can you tell she LOVES pink?! So we created this “Pretty in Pink” look to show her softer side. Gabi then wanted a fun and fresh look… and there’s nothing like a hot summer day on the streets of Miami Beach! We through a bike into the mix and were able to capture her fun/kiddish side. For her last look, Gabi wanted to be in “just my bikini!” to show off her daring side. She pulled the look off well! XO

Sometimes being casual is just your style.. It sure fits Adriana and Arne. They decided they wanted a relaxing vibe for their engagement session, to really show off how natural their love for each other is. There’s a calming sense about Arne that really shows how caring he is with Adriana. There were sooo many mosquitos biting us and Arne’s immediate instinct was to help Adriana forget about the bugs and just focus on him! We love how they interacted. All we needed to do was add a gorgeous sunset background and the results were beautiful, natural, and exactly what Adriana and Arne wanted! Enjoy!

This little burst of sunshine stole our heart. This isn’t the first time we photographed baby Adelyn, her newborn photographs were full of sweetness. It’s been 4 months since we saw Adelyn last, and geesh she is just full of smiles and smirks. She had us awwwwing and ooooohing the entire photo shoot. Her baby blue eyes along with her grasping her little toes melted our hearts. We were so pleased with the photographs that we didn’t let Adelyn and Mommy leave without planning the next photo shoot! We came up with some amazing ideas for Adelyn’s 9 month photo shoot… I can’t wait to photograph her again! Until then we will be shopping for some cute shades and a bikini! XO

As I took these photographs of my son, Evan, I felt I was capturing my sweet little boy being just that– a little boy. However, my reaction once the images were up on the screen was horror… who is this big boy and what happened to my baby?!?! I could not believe what I was seeing. I knew he was getting taller, but he’s changed. He is a confident and independent BIG boy. These last 3-4 months I must have been in denial. I think back and Evan really has made some big changes. He has his big boy bed, potty training (still working on it, can’t wait till it’s over), his taste in food has expanded (hot dogs and meatballs are his recent favorites), his speech and vocabulary have gotten so much better, and he now loves playing with the iPad. One thing that hasn’t changed about Evan is his love for action. His new superman bear gave me the inspiration for this shoot. Yesterday was a perfectly cloudy day in Miami, perfect for some easy, no fuss pictures. Evan loves pretending to be a super hero with super powers, so naturally I was equipped with lots of props from home. I even added Penny, our family dog, and his not-so partner in crime (they have a love/hate relationship) into the mix, because every superhero needs a sidekick! But, in all I wanted to show off Evan’s fun, super imaginative personality. I’m always so grateful to have the energy and creativity to have a shoot of my own family. It’s so easy to do it for my clients, but for some reason hard to do it for myself, so I’m extra grateful for these photographs. I have learned two important things from this shoot– do not cut Evans curls (it’s the one thing that keeps my baby a baby) + keep taking photographs of my own kids because they will grow waaaaay sooner than I would like! XO Patty
