So this was a first for PS! This couple got engaged, took pictures with PS, then came back for round two a year later! (CLICK HERE to view their first ultra sexy session) So this time around, Mike and Tina wanted something a bit softer with a vintage twist. Sooooo, we brainstormed a bit and after shooting around some location ideas, the final choice was the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Tina’s lace dress and the Spanish tile of the Biltmore complimented each other so well, that after the first five minutes of the session I just knew we chose the right spot. I then took the couple to another one of PS’s favorite spot that has a blue wood door that I adore. And at this point we had already shot a good hours worth of amazing stuff, but between the blue tile and iron work at the Biltmore and the blue secret garden door I was inspired to visit a vintage blue car. Now, I have to admit, as we walked up to the car Tina and Mike had their doubts and I think Tina might have even said “I don’t know about this. Maybe we can skip this spot,” but I had my mind set. I begged them to give me a chance and take just one photograph and if they still wanted to move on, then we would. Well, needless to say, my photographer instincts were right and they loved the photo on the back of my camera. These pictures ended being their favorites. So much so, that they chose one of these images as a 20×30 photograph mounted on our Stand Out Framing, and they plan on displaying it at their wedding reception. It just goes to show you, trust the photographer, you hired them for a reason, let them do what they do best! Tina and Mike, thanks for following along with the idea and giving it a chance!
