We are very honored that most of our brides and grooms choose PS Photography to photograph them when they get a baby bump, and again of course when baby is here. It was so nice seeing Oren and Dalia again, and this time Dalia looked even more beautiful then as a bride. Some women are just radiant when their pregnant and Dalia is definitely one of those lucky women. They both are soooo happy, its so obvious for everyone to see! And, I love that they were so playful during the shoot! I can’t wait to see them become parents because I just know they are going to be amazing parents!

Walking into the Viceroy Hotel in Miami, you can’t help but to be taken aback by the modern beauty that it is. And, it was perfect for Aimee + Simon’s White Party. It’s the last shindig they will have before the big day! Breck from the Bond Group always knows how to throw a party. But, this was spectacular. The view from the 50th floor of the Viceroy (Club 50) is stunning. Aimee + Simon mingled with their family and friends from all parts of the world! From New York to England! They truly had an amazing time, and they weren’t nervous about the next day’s nuptials… We love it when our brides and grooms are so adorably in-love! Just so cute! Makes our job of capturing that emotion just that much better!

{Tina + Mike} Get Engaged|Miami Engagement Session

So this was a first for PS! This couple got engaged, took pictures with PS, then came back for round two a year later! (CLICK HERE to view their first ultra sexy session) So this time around, Mike and Tina wanted something a bit softer with a vintage twist. Sooooo, we brainstormed a bit and after shooting around some location ideas, the final choice was the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Tina’s lace dress and the Spanish tile of the Biltmore complimented each other so well, that after the first five minutes of the session I just knew we chose the right spot. I then took the couple to another one of PS’s favorite spot that has a blue wood door that I adore. And at this point we had already shot a good hours worth of amazing stuff, but between the blue tile and iron work at the Biltmore and the blue secret garden door I was inspired to visit a vintage blue car. Now, I have to admit, as we walked up to the car Tina and Mike had their doubts and I think Tina might have even said “I don’t know about this. Maybe we can skip this spot,” but I had my mind set. I begged them to give me a chance and take just one photograph and if they still wanted to move on, then we would. Well, needless to say, my photographer instincts were right and they loved the photo on the back of my camera. These pictures ended being their favorites. So much so, that they chose one of these images as a 20×30 photograph mounted on our Stand Out Framing, and they plan on displaying it at their wedding reception. It just goes to show you, trust the photographer, you hired them for a reason, let them do what they do best! Tina and Mike, thanks for following along with the idea and giving it a chance!

A family photograph is sometimes rare and its sad to think that when years go by and you sit down to flip through your “box of memories”, there will be gaps thru time. Some families are the opposite. They make it a point to capture moments as a family, freeze time so that in the future you can reflect on it. Well, Amalina is one of those smarties. She makes it a point to take a photograph as a family professionally once a year and PS was chosen for 2011. So, having a client that takes family photographs often, I knew I needed to do some research. After a meeting with Amalina, we came up with a plan so that this session would stand out amongst the rest; different and unique. The location of the shoot was the historical landmark, Deering Estate. The wardrobe inspiration came from a dress that Amalina had bought for her daughter, and the colors yellow and blue were thrown in to add some vibrancy. Well, a lot of preparation seemed to have paid off! Amalina ordered a Gicleé Book so that she can truly cherish this moment for always. The album was just delivered to our studio, and I will be sure to share some photographs of it before I hand it off to Amalina…

So I really had to think on this one. This is the fourth time we photograph the Wolk family. We have known this couple since 2007 and it feels so amazing to have the opportunity to photograph them time and time again. The special occasion this time around was Hudson! Hudson has blue gorgeous eyes just like big sister, Lily, and he was such a doll during the shoot. I had the privilege to photograph them while on vacation this time. So, instead of Miami we met them in Naples, Florida. They wanted a natural, lifestyle photo shoot and so that’s what they got. Beautiful images that captured true moments! Thank you Alicia and Tyler for keeping PS in mind even if you moved across the country, I can’t wait for your next visit to Florida!

{Sindhu + Corey} Are Engaged|Miami Engagement Session

Sindhu + Corey are truly such an adorable couple. You should see how Corey gazes at Sindhu, like if she is a rare jewel that he happened to find. But, in all actuality, they are both rare. So amazing to work with, and the energy you get from being around them is calm, serene, and just full of true love. And, it’s so obvious when you look at these pictures. Even their surroundings match their personality.
Vizcaya is gorgeous. Between the historic Vizcaya house, the water, the gardens, and the couple I was inspired beyond words. Maybe some of you have seen Vizcaya thru a traditional photographer, but here is Vizcaya, Sindhu + Corey through PS Photography’s eye.

Recently we have been getting our fair share of teens to photograph and we must admit it’s a nice break from our crazy wedding season which is going on now.  Daniela, like most teens, wanted something “different”.  We spend a lot of time and effort styling each shoot we do, but Daniela had her shoot all planned.  She wanted something natural and something that reflected her personality.  She did not want crazy cool background, she did not want props, she did not want a fancy outfit….she wanted to show off her real self without all the makeup and all the fufu.  So here is Daniela….

As I blog this, I am reminiscing about Amy + Jason’s wedding day. We walked into Amy’s room at the Epic Hotel, and it was full of buzz and excitement as Amy is getting her hair and make up perfected. And, perfect is right! She just looked gorgeous! And, as Jason saw her walk into the St. Patrick Church, you can see his heart literally skip a beat! The Epic Hotel was the perfect venue for their reception, and what Vivian Colls did was just breathtaking. The day ended with such a party, that Amy + Jason did not stop dancing all night thanks to DJ Connection and their percussionist, Danny Dafuse.

Maritza and Kevin wanted a very unique session that played on their personalities and love. After talking a bit about locations, style, etc, we decided on a vintage train scene. And, when she showed up with her amazing era-appropriate attire, my jaw dropped. She looked just breathtaking. And, Kevin in his 3 piece suit and fedora… pure perfection! I absolutely can’t stop staring at these images, almost like if I went back in time… Can’t wait for their wedding!

Gina and Javier are more than just our clients, they have become friends.  We photographed their engagement session, wedding, Natalie’s birth, and every year since then!  And, we can’t get enough of their gorgeous family.  So this year for their shoot, we decided to change things up.  We chose the railroad museum as the perfect backdrop to our vintage inspired shoot.  We also had some fun and filled up the vintage luggage with some accessories.  Natlie loved modeling all the accessories for the camera dn she got a big kick out of it when I asked her to put her crown on daddy!  (I think everyone got a kick out of it!)
