{Costa d’Este Beach Resort} Culinary Team + Spa Team Pictures

I just love shooting at Costa d’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach.  The weddings there are spectacular!  We even partnered with them for a boudoir package called the “Pose Package” that includes one night stay, champagne, a session with PS Photography and a little black book of your session.  And, when they asked me to do some marketing images for them, I was thrilled!  I had done a few culinary shoots before, and they were published in Palm Beach Illustrated, but this one was going to also include their new Spa!  Everything about Costa d’Este Beach Resort is about luxury with style, and the Spa treatments are no different!  You walk into the spa and you feel like if you were transformed into a sea of scents and smells that instantly relax you.  You can get pampered in so many different ways there!  From facials to back rubs, to bamboo rituals to pedicures.  One word encompasses the entire spa experience: Zen.  The culinary team at Oriente is led by Chef Raymond Mumford.  And, I have to say, his signature dishes are amazing!  My personal favorites are the Vaca Frita Salad and the Palomilla Sliders.  But, you need to go there to experience the amazing Cuban cuisine that is influenced by Spanish and Creole traditions.

NYC Commercial Shoot-Anna

Anna’s online fitness radio personality is pretty risque!  She says what she feels without apologies.  Her aim is to educate women on fitness and nutrition so that they can still look feminine with curves.  So, when she decided to update her website and portfolio, we felt that her personality should be reflected.  And what better city than NYC!  Here are a few from our session with her!  Love how she looks in these!

Grand Harbor’s Shoot: Day Two

Categories: Corporate + Commercial
10.15.2009

So, Day Two of Grand Harbor’s Shoot was very productive as well.  We shot their restaurants’ details and their house wines.  And the front of the Club came out amazing!  It’s as if the skies posed their beauty just for these pictures! Clear and blue; like a postcard.  Hmmm…  Not a bad idea!  Anyways, the Golf Pro Shop  and Bridge card room was our last stop of the day.  Next week, I will be shooting the Beach Club at the crack of dawn!  Sunrise pictures on the beach are going to be killer…  Check back!

Grand Harbor’s Shoot: Day One

Categories: Corporate + Commercial
10.13.2009

I am sure you have been wondering…  we tweeted it and facebook’ed it.  So, here is a few sneak peeks of what we were up to at Grand Harbor Golf Club in Vero Beach.  Basically, Grand Harbor wants images of all of their amenities, rooms, etc. to put in their newletters, emails, and marketing materials.  So, Day One was a long day!  Chef brought out 40+ dishes to photograph!  And, of course, they all smelled amazing and looked like a work of art!  Then, I moved to their newly renovated fitness room.  Took a few shots of their signature staircase, and ended the day with a great shot of the back of the golf club.  Whew…  Now on to edit the images from the Day Two!  And, Day Three is coming soon…

Epic Event

The Epic is one of my favorite venues here in South Florida.  The hotel is beautiful, the lobby decor is so cool, the location is great (on the bay), but the ballroom…absolutely incredible.  Lets face it a ballroom is just a ballroom in most cases, they hardly ever give me a WOW feel anymore at least not until now.  You may be thinking I am exagerating but take a look at these photos.  I was asked by the Epic to take a few room photographs of a recent party they had there and I was shocked to see the transformation that the ballroom had recieved.  In case you didn’t notice the party was Harry Potter themed.  Deco Productions were the artists behind the setup.  They had non-stop details in every corner, including an “Astronomy Tower” room.  I couldn’t help but want to be a kid again, this party for sure is going to be the talk in school!

Just a spoon full of sugar… Um, I mean Earth and Sugar…

When the girls from Earth and Sugar called me to shoot some of their products, I was all over it!  Cupcakes?  But of course!!!

As I arrived at their kitchen, the smells were so amazing!  Warm, chocolate, coconut, sweet, yum…  That’s all I kept thinking.  And, when I learned that they only use ORGANIC products, what a plus!  All organic?  Yes, ALL organic.  And, all of their cupcakes looked too yummy to eat!  Delish…  That’s all I can say!

Earth and Sugar, a sweet organic treat.

Miami Portrait Photograhy : DLP Personal Training

So normally you can expect to see photographs of kiddies, couples, boudoir sessions, but never before this. David is a personal trainer who was in need of some updated photos. Since this was a first I was naturally apprehensive about the shoot. We started off at the gym; and of course could not finish the session with out some artistic shots. David was such a great sport, I even convinced him to jump in the pool. I hope these photos convey how passionate David is about fitness. I can’t help but want to join in on one of his boot camps.

Once again, Susie and I had the honor of photographing the amazing staff of DJ Connection. The company now has a new website, so of course they need some updated pictures to go along with it. As always, they were so much fun to photograph- as you can imagine a room full of DJ’s- which made the photo session feel more like a party. To see more of our pictures from this session, simply go to DJ Connection’s new site http://www.thedjconnectioninc.com/

By the way, P.S. Photography is mentioned on their site as a preferred vendor- how cool is that?
Thank you Javier and the staff at DJ Connection your support is amazing and I can’t wait to work together again (next month at Rosa’s wedding)!

Are Diamonds really a girl’s best friend?

Today, we did another PS Photography first! (We seem to be doing that a lot lately.)  We shot some really beautiful jewelry for a local designer, Anden Designs by Denisse.  Let me be honest, I was a little nervous.  I mean, shooting people at a wedding or a family portrait is a different experience.  People smile, laugh, cry…  Jewelry just stares right back at you.  But, I think they came out so good-not to sound cocky or anything!

Cornerstone Strategic- Corporate Shoot

I had the rare pleasure of doing a corporate shoot.  As a wedding and portrait photographer, you don’t really venture into different worlds…  But, I had the honor of shooting Cornerstone Strategic.  They needed pictures to start a new marketing campaign to include brochures, website, etc…  And, let me tell you, it’s hard work!  It’s different from shooting a wedding, that’s for sure!!!
