There’s no age that shouldn’t be photographed. Every parent takes pictures of their babies for their newborn session and one year (& sometimes in between), but then time takes over and we forget to capture them in their growing years. Ahmad is such a cutie. He’s two years old and is in his wild stage. Two- the age of running around and discovering just how your legs work, the fussy attitude & belly laughs for the simplest things. Who wouldn’t want to remember such a yummy time? Just like most two year old boys, Ahmad loves playing with cars and blowing bubbles. We just wanted to show off who he is now, with his many faces, gorgeous eyes, and beautiful smile.
Roxette wanted to celebrate the women in her life. Family is so important to her and she has a very special bond with her mother and sister. It was such a sweet idea. When Roxette came to us with the idea of doing this shoot she also had an idea of making the shoot very whimsical. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. These portraits will be cherished for years to come.
Every year I look forward to communion season. This year was a special year, my goddaughter is doing her communion. I of course wanted the photographs to be unique, and I wanted it to have a styled feel. After lots of Pinterest inspiration I came up with the idea of using floral garland to adorn a vintage swing. The results were better than I expected. I love this little girl so much and I hope you love the pictures as much as I do.
Give a girl balloons a pink cake on her birthday, and this is what you get! Sophia was so excited to turn ONE! Lara from Lara’s Themes styled the shoot perfectly, creating a gorgeous backdrop for this fun shoot. Magnolia Acres feels like it’s from another time. With it’s rustic feel, it is a dream to shoot at. Even the donkeys, Bitsy and Ariel, want to get in on the action! Sophia enjoyed the balloons, but I think she liked her cake the best!
I have to admit, I felt kinda guilty. Every year, I take pictures for our holiday cards. Every single year. Except this one. And, truth be told, we were so busy that I barely had time to shop for Christmas and pack for our 10 day road trip to the West Virginia mountains to ski and play in the snow. So, before I knew it, I didn’t have holiday cards. And, I was so bummed. So, on our trip, I decided I was going to photograph my bunch if it was the last thing I did. And, it literally was the last thing I did on the trip! On our way home, we stopped in Charleston, South Carolina for the day. So I jumped at the chance to find a good spot for pictures. And, Battery Park was the perfect backdrop! The large trees and gorgeous scenery was truly breathtaking. And, being the little models, my kids allowed me to photograph them in their true form. I got smiles, grins, giggles and even some sassy attitude. So, now, I don’t feel guilty. I feel it was fate. Xoxo-Susie
The Masi Family was so fun to photograph. From the moment we decided we were going to do a photoshoot, Jessica came out with amazing ideas for the session. We love when a client really follows through with all the little details. When you put so much effort into a shoot, the results always seem to be amazing. The teepee, Audrey’s moccasins, Audrey’s headpiece.. everything was just perfect. Take a look for yourself. XO
We’ve been shooting the Chaves family for a while now and they truly have a soft spot in our hearts! Every holiday, we have the pleasure of coming up with different concepts for them. I really love that Zuly wore a beautiful red dress that contrasted with the greenery. This backdrop was beyond gorgeous. The small chapel with vines on it, the horses, the sunset.. so beautiful. We hope to do another shoot here soon!
Another fabulous holiday session, but this one had a little Ralph Lauren inspiration. We’ve done sessions for this family for over 3 years now, and every year we come up with options that are even better than the last. And, this one by far is my favorite! We also had a four-legged guest join in on the fun at the end of the shoot! And he almost stole the show!
The Castellano Family has been apart of the PS Family since Rosy was first pregnant with Victoria. We’ve already known Victoria for well over 2 years and it has been an unbelievable ride to watch her grow. The last time we photographed V, she had just turned two and was still a little shy. This time around, Victoria’s true personality really came through. We were able to capture bigger laughs and greater love for Mommy and Daddy than we had ever seen before. We were back and forth with a few different concepts, and had to take a step back to think who the Castellano family is and what would fit them best. Considering their love for fashion, and being the owners of Chiffino, the concept we came up with can not have matched them better. The idea was a day of Christmas Shopping in New York City. Lucky for us, the weather that day in Miami fit the look perfectly…the one day in November where it was actually below 75 degrees! We even thought it would be a special moment for Rosy and Eladio to give Victoria a special gift. Eladio was so excited to give Victoria her first Tiffany necklace. Another thing that makes this session so exciting, is that it is our debut for video. We’ve been branching out with video for a while now and decided to surprise Rosy and Eladio with the unforgettable memory of Victoria and their amazing family session. We were able to tie the photography and video together to create such a beautiful moment for this amazing family. PS Photography is now offering PORTRAIT VIDEO as a service… How exciting! We hope you love this session as much as we do. Happy Holidays! Don’t forget to press PLAY!!!
