Tisha called us one day. She wanted pictures of her and her daughter. But, what touched my heart was when, she said “I would like to be able to give my daughter some pictures to look at while I am gone.” Gone for Tisha is not a few days of work in another town, or state… But, clear across the world. You see, Tisha is in the Army, and is serving our country in Afghanistan. So, of course, Madison misses mom when she is away. And, we took advantage of a 2 week leave that Tisha had to be back home. Madison loves the beach, and her and Tisha go there often. So, of course, this is the perfect setting for their session. But, we all know how unpredictable the weather has been in Florida the past few weeks, so the sun didn’t want to come out, but that didn’t dampen the mood at all. In fact, Tisha + Madison were in their own little world as they teased each other and laughed. At one point, Madison got a little pensive… And, to think what was going through her mind. Tisha was only here for a few more days, so I am sure Madison is going to miss her. But, I just know these pictures will remind her of their close bond, and just how incredibly amazing her mom is. Because, she truly is a hero, not just to Madison, but to all of us. Tisha, I want to thank you for allowing me to capture such a beautiful moments between you and your daughter. I truly am honored. And, our thoughts and prayers are with you and all the others serving our country. And, days like today (9/11) we remember all who serve our country, all the service men and women who unselfishly put our safety and freedoms ahead of their own. And, to you all, we thank you.
