With summer about to end our calendar seems to be filling up quickly.  Living in South Florida most of us have a yearly ritual of getting summer photographs taken of our family.  For those of you who have already booked their summer session with PS Photography I thought I would give you some inspiration for choosing the right outfits for your family session.  Remember we are here to help so feel free to give us a ring if you need more guidance in “what to wear”.  Looking forward to the shoot!

I had such a great time photographing this family.  Michelle from the first conversation I had with her I immediately decided I liked her.  She has the sweetest personality.  She also was so easy going when it came to the planning of the photo shoot.  We ended up making a last minute change and ended up on the beach, which I always say his classic and perfect.  The boys enjoyed playing in the sand.  I love the bond that this family had and I made sure to capture it with lots of candids.  The session was all fun and games which is why I love these photos, real moments captured beautifully.

Happy Mother’s Day Michelle and to all our fans!

This gorgeous, cheek pinchable, adorable little baby is my new cousin Carlos.  I finally had an opportunity to go over and do a photo shoot and thank god I did because he is growing by the minute!  He is such a happy baby, it took nothing to make him smile and these pictures make me smile!  You will be seeing this cutey soon enough, I plan on doing a family session in the summer.

I met this wonderful family at the wedding of Mary and Julio that we shot last year.  Patty was the Maid of Honor/makeup artist for the wedding.  She also was pregnant at the time of the wedding and didn’t even know it.  She has been dying to plan a session with PS Photography and after one cancellation due to car sickness we finally had the photo shoot.  We of course showed up her beautiful bump and their beautiful son, AJ.  Patty told me how important it was to not only have maternity shots but also to have some photographs of AJ.  She had no recent photos of AJ, so that was definitely one of my priorities.  It took changing locations to the rail road tracks for AJ to break out of his shyness and start modeling.  At the beginning of the session there was a lot bribing going on between mom and dad and AJ but toward the end of the session AJ was pleading to continue taking photographs.  The railroad tracks were a hit with AJ, the Design District was a perfect location choice.  The Design District is a new popular spot for photo session with PS, at least this month its been super popular.  The one element the Design District offers is variety, which is important to me and our clients.  We spent most of our time on a train track and in front of a graffiti wall but my  favorite photograph was taken at a local florists outside garden, which is the first photo seen below.

Baby Santiago makes four!  What a great family to photography.  Isabella is so sweet and girly, she was a dream to photograph.  It took me about 5 seconds to feel comfortable around this family.  Their home and personalities are warm and inviting.  It took no time for me to be tickling Isabella, moving furniture around and of course sharing parenting stories with Gabriela.  Santiago was a perfect baby, he needed one snack and immediately continued modeling for me.  I truly had a great time and to top it off Isabella made sure I didn’t leave with out trying one of her cupcakes that she made with Mommy, so yummy!  I couldn’t have asked for a better session!

A glimpse at these photos will certainly give you a smile!  At least that is what I was doing the whole session, smiling behind the camera.  My favorite photographs of this family are the two walking away photos (the one of the whole family and the one of Daniella and Nicholas holding hands).  But I must say the photos of dad and Nicholas playing with the airplane makes my heart melt, I just can relate since I have a boy and I just love love love to see him playing with his daddy!  This session was so important to Nicole, she had been talking and thinking about this photo session for forever.  Finally we set a date planned the concept and of course Nicole did a lot of shopping.  I think the wait was worth it, these photographs are going to be cherished for always.  I adored photographing this family and I am so happy to be the one to have photographed this special time in their lives.

P.S. Nicole and Danny also did a mini Trash the Dress Session with me, stay tuned for those pictures they will be up very soon!

I can not believe that Aiden is turning two.  I keep wishing I can just stop time.  He is so cute right at this moment, I wish I could keep hime like this forever.  Then three months go by and I say the same thing over again.  He keeps getting cuter an cuter and I keep falling in love with him more and more.  Being a mother to Aiden has been the best thing that ever happened to me and I can’t wait for whats to come!

So, I get a call for a last minute holiday session.  Oh, did I say last minute?  I mean last second!  Kasey called me less than a week from Christmas.  All her father wanted for his gift was a picture of his daughter and granddaughter!  And, when we discussed locations, she wanted railroad tracks.  And, I was able to do even better than that! A run down train!  Mackenzie was a natural in front of the camera.  I barely had to direct her!  She smiled, giggled and smirked at just the right moments!  Grandpa has to love these pictures of his girls.  It’s a gift from Santa!!!

Holiday Photo Session : Baby Elle

When Jennifer called to schedule a photo session for her daughter she was full of ideas and full of excitement.  Elle had never had any professional photographs taken before.  You can imagine the amount of thought that went into the session wardrobe and concept.  When I walked into their home my eyes immediately went to the dining room table where Jennifer had laid out tons of dresses and shirts and fairy wings and head bands, I knew that this was going to be a great session.  You simply can’t go wrong with a baby in peacock fairy wings and over sized flower headbands.  Surprisingly the session lasted about two hours, I was amazed at how Elle continued to smile for the camera without much of a break.  We ended the session with a bubble bath in the kitchen sink…perfect ending to the session!
