copyright PS Photography | PS Studios | www.PSstudios.net | www.PSphotography.netWhen Clear Channel Airports contracted us to photograph Palm Beach attractions, we were excited. And, when we found out they would be displayed along the back wall of Palm Beach International Airport’s baggage claim, we were even more excited. But, to actually finally see them was amazing! Our images are absolutely stunning and HUGE! The displays are over 6 feet high! And, they will be seen by millions of travelers as they wait for their bags!
From Lake Okeechobee to Jupiter, Delray Beach to West Palm Beach, from sunrise to late night, we were everywhere in Palm Beach County! And, we saw it all. Really. My favorite was covering the polo match at the International Polo Club. It was so exhilarating to not only see how majestic the horses were, but to feel the tremble in the ground as they ran across the field.
This was definitely an experience to photograph such beautiful locations, and one we were honored to have been chosen to do.

{Image of the Week} My Two Front Teeth

Recently, a client mentioned that they want pictures done of their kids before they start losing their teeth. At first, I agreed. Of course, you want them to have all their teeth in the pictures. Aesthetically, it looks perfect. Hair is in place, clothes are clean, and all their teeth are where they are supposed to be. But, then I started to think… When my kids lost their teeth, they were so proud. It’s almost a coming of age moment! A war scar. They lost their first tooth! That means the Tooth Fairy will be visiting them that night. I remember their excitement and how anxious they were to look under their pillow to see what the mystical winged lady brought for them. How important is that for them! I guess, my mind has changed. How can you NOT document that momentous moment? Years later, when they look back and see those pictures, they will remember… It was important to them, so it was important to you. There is really no perfect time to photograph your family, there is only right now.

Sunrises are something that I rarely see.  I am a night owl, working sometimes past 1am.  So, the thought of getting up before the sun is quite foreign.  But, recently we were commissioned by the Palm Beach International Airport to photograph different Palm Beach landmarks to display in their baggage claim area.  And, one of them being the Juno Beach Pier.  And, of course, the morning we decided to shoot was one of the first days of the Polar Vortex!  30 degrees on the beach, we looked like we were going skiing!  But, we stayed warm enough that we could set up the camera and capture one of the most amazing skies I have ever seen.  The colors almost seemed surreal, the peaches, oranges and pinks were on a color scale I have rarely seen.  It was worth waking up before dawn and freezing on the beach.  I honestly would do it again.  Not anytime soon, but I would again.  copyright PS Studios | www.PSstudios.net | www.PSphotography.net | sunrise over Palm Beach

{Image of the Week} In your arms…

“I want to be in your arms, where you hold me tight and never let me go…” This image speaks to me in so many ways, but this saying is what comes to my mind first. In weddings, it’s ever so important to not only capture beautiful imagery, but to make sure they portray the couple’s true relationship, their love, their devotion. And, I think this image does just that.

{Image of the Week} Baraat

copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net I love the Baraat. It’s so festive, joyous and full of dancing! The groom is led to the bride’s family on a white horse while his family and friends are dancing and singing around him. It’s such an important part of any Indian Wedding. And, this image encompasses the whole event… The sun shining through the trees and gently pushing him along, the contagious atmosphere and the groom’s joy beaming… Need I say more?

“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”-Omar Khayyam
Words of wisdom. Weddings are a celebration of love, when two people vow to love each other till death do them part. And, that moment should be cherished. I always tell my brides to breath, take it all in. Don’t sweat the small stuff. So your flowers are not the right shade, or your hair has a loose strand… What is important? You are marrying the love of your life, the person you love above all else. Look towards each other, and all else will fade. What’s important is right in front of you, so enjoy it.
