HOLIDAY PROMOTION!

I need to get into the holiday spirit, and what better way then to take some holiday photos. I am seeking adorable kiddies willing to get into holiday wear (sweater, scarf…maybe) even in the blazing sun. Who are we kidding! We live in Miami; a summer outfit on the beach sounds perfect too. Seriously, I am making this holiday season start early. Please don’t wait last minute.

Here are some reasons why you should get holiday photos done early:
  1. so that you can get those holiday cards mailed out BEFORE the season is over
  2. so that you can order photos for holiday gifts (ex. quick photo in a frame gift, or how about an album, or even a canvas). After all what grandma wouldn’t like a photo of their gorgeous grandchild.
  3. my favorite reason for taking holiday photos early, so that you don’t miss the opportunity and feel guilty for letting another year go by without doing it!

Our phones are on standby people, CALL NOW- before its too late. I know- so dramatic, I love it. So maybe my reasons are not good enough or my dramatic approach isn’t convincing, FINE how about a “holiday promotion”. OOOOHHH….AHHHH…sounds good? It is!

RATE- P.S. Photography

One of our brides, Carolina, submitted us as photographer in http://www.southfloridaweddingvendors.com/. She of course rated us 5/5; thank you very much. I love to get feedback from clients. It reassures us that we are providing great service. I would say 90% of our clients are referrals, so we realize how it important it is to keep our clients happy. I can honestly say we go above and beyond for our clients. At the end of their wedding day I can consider them friends. It helps to have a good relationship with your clients, it definitely makes the job easier and so much more fun.
The website Carolina submitted us in is super cool. It’s hard to explain, but it’s basically an extension to “The Knot” site. Read on to get a better understanding.
“Well, imagine that I wanted to see which knotties used “XYZ florist”. To get this information on the knot, I would probably create a post that says “Has anyone used XYZ florist?”. I would get some responses, mostly from current brides. This would be useful information, and I could chat with other brides about that florist etc., but wouldn’t it be better if I could find out which PAST brides had used that florist? Then I could read their vendor review of that florist and take a look in their bio to see if they had wedding pictures posted to see the that florist’s work in action!”
It seems like it would be super helpful when planning a wedding. It would be great if we can get some more clients to submit their rating. In order to submit a rating or comment you must register, but Carolina told me it took her seconds. Thanks in advance!

CityMommy Photo Party was a HIT!

As you know we sponsored a photo party for CityMommy members Wednesday. We had such a great time with all the kids. Luckily the weather was perfect. I wanted to say thank you to Carolina from CityMommy for being such a great host and helping Susie and I with the kids. I also wanted to say thank you to CityMommy member Karen for letting us post these beautiful pictures of her son on our blog. The rest of the proofs from the event will be posted on our on-line proofing site in 2 weeks.

I have to give a shout out to one of our past brides, Erika. Erika (blogger name: CHACHI) is constantly posting comments on our blog. The latest comment was on Angie and Danny’s Wedding (see below), “you know what i love about you guys? how well you capture each and every moment you are presented with. either a wedding, engagement session, or baby bump, all of them are so unique, displaying so much emotion and just capturing beautiful stories. you are great story tellers through your photos. simply beautiful!” I have said it before and I’ll say it again we get the best brides, call it luck but we really do.

Erika thank you for all of your kind words. It really was a pleasure working with you, I hope we continue to stay in touch.

We’re finding ourselves!!!

Well, we are continuing to work with Marra regarding our logo design. She came up with so many innovative and unique logos that it’s so hard to choose!!! This is why there are professionals out there! We couldn’t have come up with these on our own.

So, we have narrowed it down to one. Now is the fun part. We just have to tweak it a little before the big reveal! Stay tuned!!!

Coffee with Merge Studios

Today we met with Julien from Merge Studios over a cup of coffee. He specializes in wedding videography with a reality twist. Within 5 minutes of our conversation we felt like we were friends. Our visit to DJ Connection

DJ Connection is a Miami based DJ company whom we met thru Adore Party Planning. Though we have known Javier Montes and his staff for a while, Friday was our first visit to their office. WOW…from the minute you walk into the office you know these DJ boys mean business. The office is so inviting, not to mention how professional everyone in the office is. We know this sounds corny, but DJ Connection has “the total package”. We were blown away about how much they offer! Their skillz on the turn tables match their pleasant and fun personalities. We look forward to working many weddings together. Check them out!!!
