So, I am slightly obsessed with Bridal Fashion. I stalk designers blogs, keep up to date with trends, etc. So, when I came across Vera Wang’s new collection, I was left speechless. Will black and nudes be the new trend down the aisle? Her collection is absolutely breathtaking. The designs are exquisite, flowing with organzas, tules and chiffons. But, black/nude? I don’t doubt that the queen of bridal fashion will influence the trends off the runway. I actually expect to now see some of our brides wear some goth-inspired fashion. Like I said, the designs are beyond gorgeous. Vera Wang does not disappoint. And, being one of the top celebrity wedding dress designers (from Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, to Chelsea Clinton and Avril Lavigne), there is no doubt in my mind that we will see less ivory, and more gothic styles with blacks and nudes. What will you be wearing?

Art at a wedding…
Categories: Ramblings of a photographerEvery once in a while, we get an order that surprises us. The reason is because the picture they order is so different and abstract… And, this is one of them. During the course of a wedding or any event, we tend to get lots of photojournalistic shots, and they generally make it into the album. But, rarely are they ordered to be hung up on the wall. And, when they are ordered, it kinda makes me smile (in a proud way). It’s hard to explain. But, looking at this picture, it’s going to look amazing on their wall! It’s more like art, rather than JUST a picture. Love it!!!

A “Wow” moment…

Whether anyone hears me or not is another story. But, a few weeks back we did an engagement session for Danny and Adriana in West Palm Beach, and as I worked on the images, I heard myself say “Wow”. What a beautiful picture! And, I wanted to share that “Wow” moment with you. Enjoy…
Now what?!?! Help with displaying your wedding photos.

You take off your shoes, and your handsome groom sweeps you off your feet and on to your honeymoon! Now what? I mean, you have fabulous wedding photos that will last a lifetime. But, do you want them only in your album? No! Display them in your home! But how? That’s a great question.
The first step is to choose a space. Whether you would like some framed photos on your side table or a wall that you can hang enlargements, you need to choose one spot and concentrate on that one area.
Second step is to decide on a budget. If you set a budget, it can be easy to “dress your walls”. And, choosing options like canvases can actually help cut your cost! How? Well, a canvas doesn’t need to get framed! It’s ready to hang! Or, even try an acrylic print! Oh, what a statement! And, again, it does not need framing! Just hang it!
Last step is to choose your photos! This can be a stressful step. But, luckily, you have us! Use us! Ask us our opinions so we can help you make your home beautiful! (Believe me, we have huge opinions!)
Hopefully, your home will boast memories of the most important day of your lives!

Kori and Darrell decided to see each other before the ceremony so we could get some great shots of them. And, my absolute fave is the one of Darrell cracking up! I love it! It’s so telling of the mood of their wedding! So much fun. I can’t wait to finish designing their album.
Bring it on, 2010!

We did the first wedding at the new W Hotel South Beach. We’re preferred vendors in several venues in Miami and Vero Beach. We have a new office in Coral Gables. I mean, we really can’t complain. And, our clients were so amazing! And, I can already see next year being even more amazing to us. Just thinking about it makes me anxious!
And, with 2010 around the corner, we reluctantly decided that our wedding pricing will increase. With this increase you can expect better customer service which has always been number one priority for us. We believe in close relationships with our clients, we strongly believe that good customer service has been the reason for our success. So this coming year, we plan on bringing a third person on our team to help with editing and marketing so that we “P” and “S” can spend more time talking about wedding details with our oh so wonderful clients/friends. So, if you are planning on having PS Photography document your wedding here is your warning, book us before December 31!
