A rainy, ugly day in Miami did not stop this mom from completing her mission! Geraldine had no intentions of postponing a family shoot any longer. She has been longing to take professional photographs of her family of four for the longest and made it a priority. No rain, or lack of outfits would get in the way.
Before arriving to the shoot, I already made up my mind that I liked her, LOL. As I approached the house, I found myself in a seriously funny comedic movie where the mom is literally juggling her kids and 50 other things. I quickly get out of my car and help her with the 10 bags in her hands. She then is putting shoes on Connor and holding baby Kyle all at the same time (supermom for real). And of course, as this is all happening the rain starts gushing and JP’s lego tower decides to fall over and crumble on the sidewalk, which is followed by JP’s wails. Well, we all ran into the house and I looked at Geraldine and she just has a smile and starts laughing….I knew I was right, totally like this woman. What Geraldine and I planned was to do a lifestyle shoot. PS’s fresh and raw approach to lifestyle shoots have quickly become popular. It’s all about real life, real moments, creating memories; no fussiness no props… just everything that makes your family a family. So what began with a few shots of baby Kyle on the bed evolved into a tickle fight then jumping on the bed. As you can imagine, everyone including mom and dad had a blast- having fun and creating memories with the ones that are most important to them. I can picture this family looking through these photographs 15 years from now and sharing laughs and tears reminiscing on this day… and isn’t that what photography is all about?copyright PS Photograph | www.PSphotography.net
