Let’s just say that at this shoot, I had my work cut out for me!  For starters, this was the family’s first family shoot ever.  Talk about pressure!  I knew I would have to pull out some tricks from my magic hat.  Oh and let me not forget to mention that the shoot had to be on a particular Friday at 5:30pm because the family was only here for 24 hours before they left back to their home in New York.  So the date was set, time set, outfits picked, location chosen, and of course it rains…. all day- Welcome to Miami!  So plan B it was…the train museum.  I love it when the back up plan works out better than the original plan!  Two boys at a train station- what could be better!  We were able to do get some ridiculously cute photographs of the family!  The boys had a blast as you can plainly see!copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.net

Princess Victoria is six months old! I seriously can’t believe that its been six months since I photographed her newborn session, the days seem to be going too quick. So I wasn’t surprised that Rosie had a few outfit choices for the shoot. I was smiling from ear to ear when I saw little V in her hot pink tutu…..to die for! Put a girl in tutu and pearls and I am in photography heaven. I think Victoria had been practicing her model posing because I swear she busted out with a few side stares and flirty smiles. As I was editing the images I couldn’t help but smile and think, how these images will be adored for years to come and probably put a smile on hundreds of faces. Taking a photograph is easy but creating a photograph that compels emotion like a smile is what creating memories for my clients is all about. I have to admit that on my way home from the shoot I thought to myself what can we do for Victoria’s holiday shoot? I know it’s a bit crazy to be finishing a shoot and thinking of the next one but I couldn’t help it. This one was so beautiful and nostalgic that I wanted more, another shoot that will surpass this one (yes I realize this may be hard considering the results below). I still haven’t finalized the holiday concept yet but I know with Rosie’s Pinterest addiction we will come up with something FABULOUS as always.

For me as a photographer, its so important to find emotion in the photographs I take.  Being behind the camera waiting and hoping for a moment to pass by so that I can freeze it for my clients’ is what keeps me going.  When I told Bianca to hold Annabella and talk to her, I was hoping for a perfect moment… and I got it!  I knew it when it happened and knew that this would be a photograph that would be cherished always.  By far my favorite pictures of the shoot (sorry Adrian LOL).  Now, its not to say it’s the only favorite of the shoot.  Because Annabella is the sweetest baby to be around.  She seriously is the easiest baby I have photographed.  I had amazing photographs within 5 minutes of the shoot, literally.  Here are a few favorites.  Proof that this was an amazing shoot!

Ella is an adorable little girl, full of spunk and spirit. I had the pleasure of photographing her when she was only 4 months old, and to see her growing up is so amazing. She ran around the beach and laughed and played. I loved capturing her genuine smiles and giggles. Ella’s family got in on the action, and we got some great pictures of them all. Can’t wait till next year’s session! How much more will this little Shirley Temple grow in a year?

Having two older brothers, Alyssa is a survivor! She can hold her own, playing basketball, riding bike, all with a dress and princess heels. She truly lights up any room with just a hint of a smile, and her eyes are the most beautiful, dark eyes ever. But, maybe I’m biased. I’m her mom.
She loves being in front of the camera, always ready to pose. So, today I decided to take advantage of the wind gusts we are having thanks to Tropical Storm Debby that’s hitting the West Coast of Florida. Alyssa loves to twirl and to play with anything pink, and what better toy than a pink pinwheel on a windy day! Love hearing her laughter as she tries to keep her hair out of her face, which is a losing battle today. But, I’m kinda glad she lost that battle, love these images more than any other “posed” pictures I’ve ever taken of her. My little princess. ~Susie, the “S” in PS

Here is the latest shoot I photographed of my two boys!  I have been dying to do a shoot using this vintage chair that once belonged to my husband’s aunt, I just loved the pattern.  So I dragged the boys and the chair into an open field and VOILA!  The boys are so different from one another and I love that!  I have Aiden, who is always trying to please everyone, very dependent and he has this awkward way of thinking that I love the most.  He surprises me every day with what comes out of that little mouth.  Evan, on the other hand, is my little social butterfly.  He is very observant and likes to be involved with everything.  He wears his heart on his sleeve, you always can tell what he is thinking.  Now the one thing that they both have in common is that they are momma’s boys for sure.  I love how these photographs totally showcase their individual personalities.  I have the images already scattered all over the house! ~Patty, the “P”
