This shoot is one for the books! One reason is because Alexis is gorgeous and sweet and extremely easy to photograph. The second reason is we tried something new on this shoot, music inspired video. Once we hear Alexis is a musician our creative juices started flowing. We new we wanted to incorporate her love for music into the shoot. We asked her to choose a song she loved and new how to play and the rest just came together easily. Alexis play the guitar and ukulele so the song, Rip Tide was perfect. We love the outcome so much that we are now offering music inspired videos to all our teens. We can’t wait to do this again!!!

{Annette + Carlos} Miami Wedding Photography | Perez Art Museum Miami

Annette and Carlos dated for ten years, and finally decided to tie the knot. We love when a couple has known each other for so long because the chemistry really shows. You can really tell these two are best friends. What better way to celebrate your love than around 350 of your closest family and friends.. Lol. Their ceremony was at the beautiful St. Mary’s Catholic Church. We then went to the Perez Art Museum Miami for their reception. It was the first time we shot a wedding there. What a breathtaking view. You really feel as though you’re in the center of Miami. Annette had the idea of taking pictures in front of the “Western Sun,” the only artwork that you are allowed to take pictures with in the building. The outcome was spectacular. For having so many guests, the general crowd was young. Everyone was having a blast. It was the first time we had seen a Fireball Whiskey handle being handed around with the GoPro camera on it, capturing each person’s face as they took a chug. Even the bride got in on the action. Annette and Carlos had smiles on their faces the entire day. This was one of the most fun parties we had ever been to! XO

{Melissa and Jorge} Miami Engagement Session | Romantic Adventures

From the look of these images you would think this was a photo shoot that took weeks to prepare, but it didn’t quite work out like that. We did indeed start the planning of Melissa and Jorge’s Engagement session months ago, but it unexpectantly morphed into a different session than what we had expected. The reason for this change of plans was the dilemma of finding the wardrobe. This couple is as busy as they come, with demanding jobs Melissa couldn’t seem to dedicate the time and energy into finding clothes for the shoot. So, we recommended using a fashion stylist to help. Melissa visited Hot Pink Styling a week before her scheduled shoot and fell in love with the choices she was given. Melissa and Hot Pink were doing a fashion show and texting me pics, when I saw the gold dress I automatically had a vision and concept. The second outfit was harder to decide on. When I spoke to Melissa the next day she had chosen a black short feathered dress. We both started shooting ideas at each other and Voila… NYC meets Miami downtown it was. We had a rain scare, a mosquito gang attacking the stylist, a running marathon in downtown and a taxi driver confrontation; but at the end… I can call this shoot absolutely perfect.

{Lianette + David} Are Engaged | Miami Engagement Session

Categories: Engagement + Anniversary Tags: + +
09.27.2012

Liannete and David are another super chill and easy going couple. I feel like I have been saying that a lot lately, but it is true. They weren’t too worried about choosing a location for their engagement session, Liannete said we could pretty much go anywhere and know that the pictures were going to be great! And of course they did! (I say this in my humble voice). The beach and downtown Miami were the backdrop for this sweet engagement session, after all, you can’t go wrong with these picturesque spots. Lianette and David brought champagne onto the set to keep the butterflies away, my kind of couple! The champagne must have worked because within five minutes they seemed to be at ease in front of the camera and let loose. We had lots of laughs together at the shoot and I couldn’t be more happier with the outcome! The couple will be showcasing these sweet pictures in a sign in book at their wedding, our most popular and favorite way display your engagement shoot. Wedding and pictures coming SOON!
