“I want to be in your arms, where you hold me tight and never let me go…” This image speaks to me in so many ways, but this saying is what comes to my mind first. In weddings, it’s ever so important to not only capture beautiful imagery, but to make sure they portray the couple’s true relationship, their love, their devotion. And, I think this image does just that.

{Image of the Week} Baraat

copyright PS Photography | I love the Baraat. It’s so festive, joyous and full of dancing! The groom is led to the bride’s family on a white horse while his family and friends are dancing and singing around him. It’s such an important part of any Indian Wedding. And, this image encompasses the whole event… The sun shining through the trees and gently pushing him along, the contagious atmosphere and the groom’s joy beaming… Need I say more?

{Image of the Week} This moment is your life…

“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”-Omar Khayyam
Words of wisdom. Weddings are a celebration of love, when two people vow to love each other till death do them part. And, that moment should be cherished. I always tell my brides to breath, take it all in. Don’t sweat the small stuff. So your flowers are not the right shade, or your hair has a loose strand… What is important? You are marrying the love of your life, the person you love above all else. Look towards each other, and all else will fade. What’s important is right in front of you, so enjoy it.

{Image of the Week} Shoe-a-holics

So, I have slacked with our weekly image post. Holiday photo shoots have us running around, shooting, editing, designing cards, and not to mention shooting weddings, too! Well, on to our image. This image was shot in Costa d’Este Beach Resort. The penthouse has a niche in it’s wall that has an extreme pinlight on a sculpture. And, I adore shoes. Like, obsessed with shoes. Heels, flats, sandals, you name it. So, when I spotted Elizabeth’s gorgeous Badgley Mischka’s, I had to showcase them in this spotlit niche. And, the final outcome is… ahhhhhh! (in my best impression of an opera singer…)copyright PS Photography |

The dress… One of the first thing a girl does as soon as he gets down on one knee is find a dress. Many will stroll down Miracle Mile in Coral Gables through the (seems like) hundreds of bridal boutiques, many will cut out their favorites from bridal magazines, and others will fly to New York to the famous Kleinfeld’s. But, not this girl. Lili had a vision of a glamorous steam-punk wedding. And, with this gorgeous custom made corset, she accomplished just that. The endless number of rhinestones, the large diamonds, the shape… Pure perfection.copyright PS Photography |

{Image of the Week} Holding Hands

Sometimes, during a portrait session, we stop and just exhale because we got an image that just captures the whole essence of the shoot… This is that image. It takes me back to my childhood as me and my sister are running around, holding hands, pretending we were fairies in a forest. Just can’t help but smile, and reminisce. What does it remind you of?copyright PS Photography | | Family Photography
