And, we are so happy that they are now expecting a little princess. After having to reschedule our photo shoot because of afternoon rains, we decided to make it a morning session. And, it was truly magical. It was almost as if baby Emerson gave her approval! The sun was out, shining and bright. Just flaring through the oak trees creating the most angelic glow. I just can’t wait to meet Emerson! xo

I’m not going to lie… it’s pretty awesome when a client gives us complete freedom to come up with a photo shoot concept and wardrobe. The words “yes” and “I love it” came out of Iala’s mouth during the entire planning process. We began with the idea of doing an elegant cream colored dress at a field, however everything changed when Iala found this red dress. The dress was everything! She even resisted sending me the picture as she was trying it on in the fitting room, and I am so happy she trusted her instincts and shared the pic. Needless to say, we both loved the red dress. Red is such an unexpected color to wear for a maternity dress which made me love the idea more. I completely changed the shoot concept and location to match the red dress, and Iala once again was happy with all the ideas and changes. It’s so nice to have a client give carte Blanche, but it’s also so nice for a client to think outside the box and trust her own sense of style. This maternity shoot is one for the books. I am so proud of how it all unfolded. I am obsessed with the red dress even more now that I have seen the final product. I am so happy that I changed the location to a secret location filled with greenery. The red and green complimented each other so well. The colors are rich, and the photographs are romantic and interesting. Love love love this shoot!

copyright PS Photography | www.PSphotography.netNo doubt this is one of my favorite maternity sessions EVER! Cristina had a vision and we helped her make it come true. She wanted a modern and edgy session and wanted it in Miami’s Design District. After a short meeting of the minds, we added a red couch, a cute pooch and shoes fit for a trendy little princess…and voila! I smiled the entire shoot and remember thinking, “Geesh how did this shoot turn out so perfect?” Sometimes, a shoot just sticks out from the rest because of weather, concept, wardrobe, hair, makeup, client, accessories, props, location, and attitude, etc. And these all played a role. I’m so excited to show these beautiful images off in hopes it inspires future trendy maternity shoots.

Happy Birthday Erin! I was so smitten with Erin this time around. I have done a few shoots this last year of her but she is now one and she is yummier than ever! The shoot was not only celebrating Erin turning the big one, but also Erin will be a big sister soon! We did this shoot at a neighborhood park close to their so I met them at their house so that we can leave together to the park. Well lucky for me when I got there they were running behind schedule so I got to feed Erin her bottle and read a few books with her, oh sweetness. She is just the sweetest baby, she wanted me to hold her and play with her the whole time. I even helped dress her. My boys are 2 and 5 already so I found myself missing this stage, oh how time flies. Needless to say I had a great time spending time with this family. We ended the session with a little fun. I had this idea of putting Erin in a tin tub with bubbles, and a rubber ducky. I am so happy that Katie went with the idea and helped put it all together because Erin full of bubbles is just way to much to even handle, take a look for yourself. This is the first time trying out this bubble bath concept but I am thinking it may be a request from clients after they take a peek of these pictures. Note to self remember to bring a thermos of hot water to add to the bath, poor Erin was freezing.
