Ever wonder how a wedding planner plans her own wedding? Well, turns out it’s a bit complicated. Mayrelis is the CEO of Elite Planning Firm based in Miami, Florida. While sitting with her and talking details about her upcoming wedding, we came to the understanding this was not going to be your average Miami wedding. After all, she has designed and planned over 100 weddings. She has definitely seen her fair share of beautiful weddings. For herself, it was hard to finalize an idea and a concept for her own wedding. What was most important for May and her fiance, Eric, was to have a small, intimate celebration amongst a select few of the most important people in their lives. The end result was a brunch wedding at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. It was a beautiful and romantic daytime celebration. Brunch stations included a mimosa bar and a gorgeous dessert bar that included so many yummy goodies (even donuts, May’s favorite!). The decor was eclectic and romantic. We absolutely loved that May and Eric had an indoor wedding ceremony at one of our favorite venues. Have you seen the inside of The Biltmore’s ballrooms?! It was our favorite part of this wedding. We also loved the energy as the newlyweds entered their reception ballroom for the first time. The DJ played upbeat music while introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. and then invited all the guests to jump off their seats and join the couple on the dance floor. There was so much happiness and wonderful energy throughout the entire day. We hope you enjoy the pictures we snapped for this couple. What an amazing blessing to photograph a wedding planner for their big day! Needless to say, the job was easy considering how much beautiful imagery there was to capture.
